Movie Narrative: The Collection (2012)



The captivation of moving pictures is a source of tremendous inspiration.  For this reason and many more, RB28’s Movie Narratives, continues showing its love for movies with another movie narrative.  This week, The Collection (2012), will be converted into a narrative and subsequently highlighted.  It is implied that the blog reader reads the movie narrative, and then, he or she watches the movie.  The effort is to give the blog reader, an enhanced experience.  RB28’s Movie Narratives, ends this movie narrative of The Collection (2012), with some Hollywood facts.  
             The Collection (2012) is rated R.  Furthermore, it is 1 hour and 22 minutes long.  This movie is categorized under the horror genre.  The official release date is November 30th, 2012.  The release date is for the Country of the United States of America.  Additionally, this movie is part of a series of movies.  Technically, it is the second movie.  The first feature film in the series of movies is, The Collector (2009).  The director was Marcus Dunstan.  The writers were Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan.  The officially recognized stars were Josh Stewart, Emma Fitzpatrick and Christopher McDonald.  The list of the 15 most important cast members is as follows:

             The synopsis follows.  The Collection (2012) is a gruesome horror sequel, which delivers, out of the U.S.A.  The secret is out, and, people know about The Collector.  Additionally, the people know about the horrific violence that, he inflicts.  The police provide basic information, to the public, about The Collector.  News reporters report the kidnapping of, Arkin O’Brien.  At the same time, Elena is invited by Missy to go to a party, at the last minute.  Missy also brings along, her brother.  The news reports that, The Collector has more than 50 victims.  The party is an underground party, inside of a warehouse.  Missy’s brother meets a woman, and, they start to kiss.  Elena becomes angry at Missy’s brother, and, she leaves the dance floor area.  Elena finds an empty room.  Coincidentally, she discovers the mysterious trunk that, belongs to The Collector.  Elena opens the trunk, and, Arkin falls out of the trunk.  Unfortunately, this activates an improvised device of death.  The device activates a death machine, and, everyone inside of the warehouse is killed in a gruesome violent way.  During this time; Arkin is able to escape the trunk, and, Elena watches her friend die.  The Collector; puts Elena inside the mysterious trunk, and, he takes her with him.  Arkin is able to escape the warehouse, and, he ends up at the hospital.  Arkin is in the hospital, and, under police protection.  Unexpectedly, a man named Lucello enters the room, to be able, to see him.  It results that, Lucello has assembled a team of soldiers for hire, in order, to search for Elena.  Director, Marcus Dunstan, does a terrific job in creating a unique sequel and story.  Furthermore, The Collector is amplified with more killing power for this story.  The writers do a good job, and, they don’t fall into a hole that involves re-creating the first movie.  For this particular movie, the action also moves fast.  The officially recognized stars do a good job performing their roles.  Special recognition is merited to Emma Fitzpatrick, for the Elena character.  Overall, this movie earns the rating of 7 out of 10.
            The movie narrative of, The Collection (2012), is as follows.  The secret is out, and, people know about The Collector.  Additionally, the people know about the horrific violence that, he inflicts.  The police provide basic information, to the public, about The Collector.  News reporters report the kidnapping of, Arkin O’Brien.  At the same time, Elena is invited by Missy to go to a party, at the last minute.  Missy also brings along, her brother.  The news reports that, The Collector has more than 50 victims.  The party is an underground party, inside of a warehouse.  Missy’s brother meets a woman, and, they start to kiss.  Elena becomes angry at Missy’s brother, and, she leaves the dance floor area.  Elena finds an empty room.  Coincidentally, she discovers the mysterious trunk that, belongs to The Collector.  Elena opens the trunk, and, Arkin falls out of the trunk.  Unfortunately, this activates an improvised device of death.  The device activates a death machine, and, everyone inside of the warehouse is killed in a gruesome violent way.  During this time; Arkin is able to escape the trunk, and, Elena watches her friend die.  The Collector; puts Elena inside the mysterious trunk, and, he takes her with him.  Arkin is able to escape the warehouse, and, he ends up at the hospital.  Arkin is in the hospital, and, under police protection.  Unexpectedly, a man named Lucello enters the room, to be able, to see him.  Lucello works for Elena’s father.  Furthermore, he is at the hospital, in order, to start the search for Elena.  Arkin tells Lucello that, he recognizes her.  At the same time, Elena is shown inside of the trunk.  She also watches, The Collector, mutilate a victim.  Lucello assembles a team of soldiers for hire, in order, to search for Elena.  There is one woman in the team.  Arkin is taken to the meeting, and, he becomes part of the team.  It results that, Arkin knows, and, he is able to re-trace his steps.  The steps, to be more exact, from the moment that he was kidnapped.  Arkin successfully guides the team, to an abandoned hotel.  Somehow, Elena is able to escape the trunk.  The Collector enters the room, and, he sees that Elena has escaped.  The Collector starts to look for her, when, Arkin opens the door and the alarm turns on.  The team of soldiers enters; the abandoned hotel, and, Elena starts to move around the inside of the hotel building.  The Collector, quickly kills one member of the team.  Arkin is attacked by a disfigured man.  The disfigured man, is killed by the team.  The team discovers dozens of mutilated bodies that, are cut into pieces.  At this time, The Collector releases dozens of disfigured men.  The disfigured men, attack the team of soldiers.  The team is able to kill the majority of the disfigured men, before, they escape into an adjacent room.  Elena finds another woman, and, she releases her from the trunk that she was in.  The team encounters another victim of, The Collector.  However, this victim blows himself up; suicide bomber style.  The explosion activates a device of death, and, one of the members of the team is killed.  At this point, the team of soldiers becomes separated.  Inside the abandoned hotel building, Elena is walking with the woman.  Unexpectedly, the woman betrays her.  Coincidentally, The Collector almost re-captures Elena.  From this point forward; the series of events, take the viewer, to the end.  Elena is found, by Lucello and Arkin.  At this point; Elena, Lucello and Arkin do receive some good luck and fortune.  Specifically, Arkin had killed a homeless man, who was standing on the sidewalk.  The police did respond to the killing of the homeless man.  As soon as Arkin sees the police, he fires a gun at the police officers.  The idea was to attract the police to the abandoned hotel building.  The police do respond to everything, and, they send a dozen or two dozen police officers into the abandoned hotel building.  Additionally, the police officers also call in, the S.W.A.T. team.  Finally; you have to watch, in order to know, how this movie ends.
