Movie Narrative: Among Friends (2012)

The captivation of moving pictures is a source of tremendous inspiration.  For this reason and many more, RB28’s Movie Narratives, continues showing its love for movies with another movie narrative.  This week, Among Friends (2012), will be converted into a narrative and subsequently highlighted.  It is implied that the blog reader reads the movie narrative, and then, he or she should watch the movie.  The effort is to give the blog reader, an enhanced experience.  RB28’s Movie Narratives, ends this movie narrative of Among Friends (2012), with some Hollywood facts.

             The synopsis follows.  Among Friends (2012) is a horror movie, out of Los Angeles.  The city is the City of Los Angeles, California U.S.A.  A limousine drives through the city.  The limousine arrives at its first destination.  At this location, a man named Blane boards the limousine.  The limousine continues driving through the City of Los Angeles.  The limousine arrives at its sixth, and final, destination.  At this location, a man named Marcus boards the limousine.  Inside the limousine, the group of friends starts talking.  Apparently, the group is driving to Bernadette’s house.  Bernadette organized the entire thing.  Jules is a low-level actress.  Adam is Jules’s brother.  Blane likes to use cocaine.  Jules is carrying cocaine.  The group is missing a woman named, Lily.  The limousine driver says that, Lily was not on the schedule.  At Bernadette’s house, Lily lies inside the bathtub.  The bathtub has blood in it.  Bernadette finishes getting ready.  The group arrives at Bernadette’s house and enters.  Bernadette has left instructions for the group.  The instructions say, to enter through the back.  At the pool house, the group meets-up with Bernadette.  It is announced that, Lily is not present at the party.  Bernadette goes over the premise of the murder mystery party game.  The night is Prom Night, in the year 1984.  A guest of the party, is a murderer.  The group has to identify; who the murderer is, and, the reason for the murder.  There is evidence hidden, throughout, the house.  The group splits up, and, they search for evidence.  The group re-meets at the dining table.  Bernadette takes the murder mystery party game, to the next phase.  Bernadette gives everyone, personal evidence.  Everyone looks at their own personal evidence.  Blane has a toy rabbit, inside a pot.  Marcus has a toy, which plays music.  Sara has a triangle, with the homosexual flag on it.  Jules has a small toy bear.  Melanie has a Chinese finger trap.  Adam has a jack in the box.  However, at the end, of the jack in the box is a baby bottle.  Bernadette has a television remote control.  Unexpectedly, Jules discovers that she cannot walk, because, she cannot feel her legs.  The rest of the group, experiences the same thing.  Bernadette reveals that, everything is part of the murder mystery party game.  Additionally, that she did paralyze them, from the waist down.  The group feels confused, and, outraged.  Bernadette continues and takes the murder mystery party game, to the next phase.  The limousine driver is the first murder victim of the night.  Ultimately, Lily’s story is revealed.  Director, Danielle Harris, does a good job.  The movie is a fun and simple story.  The beginning of the movie, successfully, grabs and holds the viewer’s attention.  Furthermore, the viewer does feel some excitement, about what is ahead.  The writer does an equally good job.  The interaction between the characters is very well written.  Furthermore, each character does have a developed personality.  The personality of the character, does reach out to the viewer.  Unfortunately, the horror movie action falls short.  The officially recognized stars contribute tremendously.  They would be missed, if they were not chosen.  Overall, this movie earns the rating of 5 out of 10.

who the murderer is, and, the reason for the murder.  There is evidence hidden, throughout, the house.  The group splits up, and, they search for evidence.  In the master bedroom, Jules and Blane arrive together.  Jules and Blane have sexual tension, between themselves.  Jules knows how to push Blane away.  Additionally, she searches for the evidence.  In another bedroom, Marcus and Melanie talk.  They start to search for evidence.  Marcus and Melanie have sexual tension, between themselves.  Unexpectedly, Marcus hugs Melanie.  Additionally, he says that, Melanie is beautiful.  Furthermore, they start to kiss.  In the master bedroom, Blane and Jules pass time together.  Jules finds the evidence.  The evidence is, clothes soaked with blood.  In the kitchen, Adam and Sara talk.  Sara finds the evidence.  The evidence is, a cut off finger.  In the other bedroom, Melanie finds the evidence.  The evidence is, teeth.  Marcus continues looking, and, he finds evidence.  The evidence is, a cut off ear.  In the master bedroom, Jules confesses that she is on the drug “magic mushrooms.”  Blane asks Jules for some magic mushrooms.  Grudgingly, Jules shares magic mushrooms, with Blane.  The group re-meets at the dining table.  Bernadette takes the murder mystery party game, to the next phase.  Bernadette gives everyone, personal evidence.  Everyone looks at their own personal evidence.  Blane has a toy rabbit, inside a pot.  Marcus has a toy, which plays music.  Sara has a triangle, with the homosexual flag on it.  Jules has a small toy bear.  Melanie has a Chinese finger trap.  Adam has a jack in the box.  However, at the end, of the jack in the box is a baby bottle.  Bernadette has a television remote control.  Unexpectedly, Jules discovers that she cannot walk, because, she cannot feel her legs.  Adam and Sara, discover that they feel the same symptoms.  Melanie is fourth with the symptoms.  Bernadette is fifth.  Marcus is sixth.  Marcus was standing, and, he fell to the ground at the moment, he felt the symptoms.  Jules starts to experience hallucinations.  Blane feels the symptoms, however, he doesn’t feel worried or panicked.  Unexpectedly, Bernadette stands up, and, she reveals that she was pretending to feel the symptoms.  Bernadette also reveals that, everything is part of the murder mystery party game.  Additionally, that she did paralyze them, from the waist down.  The group feels confused, and, outraged.  Unexpectedly, Bernadette injects Marcus with more drugs.  Marcus is sitting on the floor.  Bernadette sits Marcus, in his chair.  Bernadette takes the murder mystery party game, to the next phase.  Jules continues to experience hallucinations.  Bernadette uses duct tape, in order, to tie down everyone; to their chairs.  Bernadette goes over the new rules.  Everyone is responsible for their own actions.  Each party guest, is allowed to ask one question.  Everything is minority rule.  1 vote wins the voting process.  Bernadette reprimands and slaps Jules.  Bernadette discovers cocaine, in Adam’s possession.  Bernadette force feeds Jules, cocaine.  Bernadette is completely crazy, and, she prepares her things.  Apparently; Bernadette also has it as an objective, to reveal their true selves to themselves.  Additionally, Bernadette wants to be seen, as an honest person.  The question, where is Lily?, is asked.  Bernadette says that, she has to receive something.  If, she answers a question.  Blane activates the minority rule.  Bernadette cuts off a piece of Sara’s scalp, with hair attached.  Blood runs out of the cut.  Bernadette answers the question.  Bernadette shows the group video, of Lily inside a bathtub.  There is blood, inside the bathtub.  Unexpectedly, Bernadette places raw pieces of meat, on the table.  Blane asked a question, which was related to the raw meat.  Bernadette activates the question rule, and, she wants something in return.  Jules activates the minority rule.  Bernadette cuts off Blane’s eyebrow; from off his face.  The answer to the question.  The raw meat was once a father, who sexually molested his daughter.  Adam vomits on the table and group.  Unexpectedly, the limousine driver enters the house.  The driver is returning Jules’s mobile telephone.  The driver asks, if he can use the bathroom.  For some unknown reason, Bernadette kills the driver.  The group is tormented, by the murder.  Bernadette returns to the dining table.  Additionally, she asks Jules and Marcus, if they are ready.  Bernadette shows video of Jules and Sara, having sexual intercourse.  Apparently, Marcus was hiding in the room.  Marcus masturbates to Jules and Sara.  Unexpectedly, Bernadette cuts a finger, off Marcus’s hand.  Bernadette continues by cutting off several fingers.  Bernadette puts duct tape on Marcus’s hand.  Jules is asked, if she wants Marcus, to be punished.  Jules doesn’t care.  Bernadette continues by showing video of Lily, in the bathtub.  Melanie begs to be left alone, without punishment.  Bernadette asks for a minority rule vote.  Sara volunteers to be punished, in Melanie’s place.  Bernadette hits a nail, through, Sara’s hand.  Sara’s hand becomes nailed to the table.  Bernadette reveals to the group that, Lily asked for help with an abortion.  Furthermore, that this day was the day of the abortion.  Additionally, that Lily experienced complications, and, she is bleeding.  Apparently, this is the motivation, for what she is doing.  Bernadette shows video of Blane having sexual intercourse with Melanie.  Adam arrives, and, he is part of the sex action; for a few moments.  Apparently, during this time Blane was dating Sara.  Jules is not convinced about what is happening.  Bernadette continues to rant and rave.  Sara is angry at Blane.  Marcus asks Bernadette for the end game, to everything.  Bernadette approaches Adam.  Jules experiences an intense hallucination.  Jules believes that, she is on the set of a movie.  Bernadette shows video of Adam raping Lily.  Apparently, Lily became pregnant after the rape.  From this point forward; the series of events, take the viewer, to the end.  Lily arrives to join the group.  Lily knocks out Bernadette, and, she ties her down.  Lily leaves, and, Bernadette returns to the party.  You have to watch, to know, about Bernadette’s return.  Finally; you have to watch, in order to know, how this movie ends.  Watch until the end credits end.
