Movie Narrative: Aeon Flux (2005)


The captivation of moving pictures is a source of tremendous inspiration.  For this reason and many more, RB28’s Movie Narratives, continues showing its love for movies with another movie narrative.  This week, Aeon Flux (2005), will be converted into a narrative and subsequently highlighted.  It is implied that the blog reader reads the movie narrative, and then, he or she watches the movie.  The effort is to give the blog reader, an enhanced experience.  RB28’s Movie Narratives, ends this movie narrative of Aeon Flux (2005), with some Hollywood facts.
            Aeon Flux (2005) is rated PG-13.  Furthermore, it is 1 hour and 33 minutes long.  This movie is categorized under the action and science fiction genre.  The official release date is December 2nd, 2005.  The director was Karyn Kusama.  The writers were Phil Hay, Matt Manfredi and Peter Chung.  The officially recognized stars of Aeon Flux (2005); were Charlize Theron, Frances McDormand and Sophie Okonedo.  The list of the 11 most important cast members is as follows:

            The synopsis follows.  Aeon Flux (2005) is an action story, out of a science fiction world.  In a science fiction world and society, the year is 2415.  Additionally; this particular society enjoys having, high levels of technology that, are closely connected to spirituality.  Furthermore; this society is a city-state, and, the last place on Earth where the human race lives.  Unfortunately, this society is plagued with sadness and sorrow.  This fact, interestingly, makes the conditions ready for rebellion.  The rebels are called Monicans, and, Aeon Flux is one of their best female assassins.  One day, she is given the mission to assassinate, Chairman Goodchild.  However, the mission to kill Chairman Goodchild, forever changes Aeon’s life.  Director, Karyn Kusama, does a good job.  The utopia that, Karyn Kusama, brings to life is believable.  Additionally, it cleverly brings to life, the visions of the writers.  The writers do an equally good job.  A utopia, which is governed by a committee and a chairman, is successfully brought to life.  The officially recognized stars contribute tremendously.  They would be missed, if they were not chosen.  Overall, Aeon Flux (2005) earns the rating of 6 out of 10. 
            The movie narrative of, Aeon Flux (2005), is as follows.  In the year 2011, a virus infectious disease killed 99 percent of the world’s population.  A scientist named, Trevor Goodchild discovered the cure.  The human species is surviving in the last human city named, Bregna.  Goodchild establishes a dynasty that, rules for 400 years.  It is now, the year 2415.  Bregna is a utopia that, is plagued with sadness and sorrow.  There are rebels called Monicans that, fight against, the Goodchild Regime.  Bregna has a population in the millions.  Aeon Flux is a Monican, and, one of their best assassins.  The Monicans communicate with each other, through, mind telepathy.  The Goodchild Regime has high levels of technology that, are closely connected to spirituality.  The Goodchild Regime, also, has a highly developed political committee system.  The ruler of this utopia is named, Chairman Goodchild.  Aeon’s sister is killed by agents of the government.  One year later, Aeon is given the mission to assassinate, Chairman Goodchild.  Oren Goodchild, is Chairman Trevor Goodchild’s brother.  He is also the leader of a group that, is in opposition to, the policies of the chairman.  This day, Chairman Goodchild is in an auditorium, practicing a speech.  Aeon Flux, is able to reach him, to be able to attempt the assassination.  However and regrettably, she is not successful, and, she is taken prisoner.  Fascinatingly; Chairman Goodchild recognizes her, and, calls her by another name, Katherine.  Whilst in her cell, Aeon is given water.  She suspects that, the water has been poisoned and takes a sample.  A short time later, Aeon manages to escape her cell and captivity.  She notifies the Monicans that, she didn’t complete her mission.  It is revealed that, Oren planned his brother’s assassination.  Additionally, he also planned the assassination, through, a member of the Monicans.  He also remembers Aeon, after seeing the video of her escape.  Soon after her escape, Aeon goes to a man named, Claudius.  Soon after her visit, she asks him about the poison in the water.  Claudius tells her that, it is a message.  Aeon drinks the water, and, Chairman Goodchild reveals a message to her.  Aeon meets with Chairman Goodchild.  During their encounter, Aeon starts to have flashbacks, of a previous life.  She wakes up in Trevor’s bed.  Before she escapes, she is almost killed by Goodchild’s assistant.  A short time later, Oren removes Trevor Goodchild, from the committee and government.  As a result, Oren becomes the Chairman.  Around this time; Aeon discovers the place, where the government archives the files of the people.  Regrettably, and also at this time, the Monicans brand Aeon a traitor.  The other Monicans, subsequently, are given clearance to kill Aeon.  Aeon learns that; people are removed from society, and, they are assigned new identities.  Interestingly, she finds her sister, Una.  Immediately, she travels to the location of her sister’s new identity.  Aeon discovers that, the new identity is a baby.  Trevor Goodchild finds Aeon, at this location.  Trevor tells her, the secret of their society.  The cure for the virus that killed humanity; caused sterility, in the population.  All of the members of Bregna’s population are infertile, and subsequently, clones.  For 7 generations; every member is systematically killed, cloned and re-introduced into Bregna.  It results that, Aeon’s sister had one of the first natural pregnancies, before she was killed.  Additionally, this fact is causing rifts in the government.  Trevor and Aeon, are attacked by agents of the government, and, do manage to escape.  Trevor tells Aeon that, he and Oren are also clones.  Additionally; each generation they clone themselves, and, teach themselves the secrets and necessary things to govern.  Finally, him and her were once lovers; in the world before the disease.  Trevor also tells Aeon that, he teaches her to himself and Oren; every generation.  From this point forward; the series of events, take the viewer, to the end.  Finally; you have to watch, in order to know, how this movie ends.
